Risca Beach Party is taking place from 10am to 4pm on Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th June in the delightful Tredegar Park, which is located off Tredegar Street in Risca Town Centre, NP11 6BX!
This two-day event will be host to a giant beach laden with deckchairs and beach toys to keep everyone amused. Regular Punch and Judy shows will take place throughout the day and there will be a selection of juvenile funfair rides, along with a variety of attractions to keep everyone entertained!
There will be a small number of stalls selling sweets, brownies, and Welsh cakes, as well as hot and cold drink refreshments, potato twisters, dinky donuts and the all-important ice cream van! Why not venture into town and #ChooseLocal … bring back some chips or picnic goodies to enjoy on the beach and support the local retailers… just watch the donkeys don’t try and join in on feeding time!
There is plenty of open space in the park for picnics too, so bring along your blankets and goodies and pitch up for the day! (Please note: alcohol is not permitted at the event.)
For trade space and general event enquiries, please email events@caerphilly.gov.uk or call 01443 866390.
❗️ Please note: dogs are more than welcome to attend the Risca Beach Party, except for the beach area itself, due to health and safety concerns. While dogs are welcome at our events, some dogs may find the high volume of people frightening, which may be detrimental to their welfare and cause them to bite. Owners bringing dogs to the event do so at their own risk and liability.
