Small pub with a big heart! The White Cross Inn is in a rural location and a regular stop-off for walkers, horse riders and cyclists. At 250 years old..ish, it’s a good community pub and is home to a Walking Group (The Wacky Wanderers), The Beerbellies (a monthly evening of talks, etc. on beer) The Gun Club and two darts teams. Highly commended by CAMRA in 2018 and featured in The Good Beer Guide since 2012.
The pub also has a small cosy room for available for private parties or meetings.
The White Cross Inn stood in as ‘Y Pren Marw,’ the fictional Welsh pub in the 2024 episode of Doctor Who, ’73 Yards.’
